QDO YOU SET UP TAILGATES OUTSIDE OF CIRCLE PARK?
Tailgate Tennessee is a tailgate event located exclusively in Circle Park, and the adjacent Smokey Lawn for UT home football games. QCAN I DECORATE MY TAILGATE?
We love our tailgaters to make their tailgates their own with our optional upgrades & add-ons or their own decorations. Please note, however, that corporate signage and logos are not permitted in Circle Park. For decoration inspiration, check out our Instagram and Pinterest. QWHAT ARE THE HOURS OF OPERATION?
Tailgate Tennessee opens five hours prior to kickoff and closes 90 minutes after the game ends for every home football game. No security will be provided after closing. We cannot be responsible for items left behind after closing time (90 minutes after the game).
QCAN I PROMOTE MY COMPANY AT MY TAILGATE?
Advertising and solicitation are strictly prohibited in Tailgate Tennessee, per University guidelines. This includes any branded signage or decor, any promotional material distribution, giveaways, or transactions of any kind. Violations of this policy can restrict customers' access to Circle Park in the future.
QCAN I PLUG MY ELECTRONIC
DEVICES OR APPLIANCES IN?
Additional power is not available at your tailgate. Please do not plug in appliances like crock pots, warming plates or coffee pots. If you would like to use these items, please bring a small, quiet generator. Additionally, do not unplug anything in your tailgate.
QWHERE CAN I PARK?
There are a variety of options.

QCAN I BRING MY OWN GRILL?
Yes and no.
We welcome gas grills, however, we are unable to accommodate charcoal grills. These items can be dropped off on Friday between 6-8 p.m. University personnel have asked that no trailers or towables of any kind be allowed at Circle Park or McClung Museum. Please respect this rule as we will be enforcing it by asking you to remove any towables or charcoal grills..
QIS THERE A TIME I CAN DROP OFF MY THINGS AT THE TAILGATE SITE?
We will be on-site to help you unload and get acclimated with your tailgate site every Friday preceding a home game from 6-8 p.m. On gameday, you can begin unloading your items at 8 a.m. using provided pull-through passes, which are valid for 15 minutes each, up until 3 1/2 hours prior to kickoff. Your passes will be issued to you on gameday by the parking attendants at the entrance to Circle Park Drive. These will be reserved under your group name.
QDOES ICE COME WITH OUR TAILGATE?
All packages come with two (2) bags of ice (20 lbs/bag). Additional ice will be available for purchase while supplies last from one of our friendly staff members or directly from the Tailgate Tennessee ice tent, located on the opposite end from the Torch Bearer at Circle Park.
QWILL THERE BE SECURITY ON-SITE IF I LEAVE MY THINGS OVERNIGHT FRIDAY?
Yes and no.
If you purchased a Touchdown or First Down package, a security agent will be on-site from Friday night until three hours prior to kick-off. We will also provide security for 90 minutes after the game. If you purchased a Kick-Off package, you are responsible for your own things if you leave them overnight.
QDO THE CATERING PACKAGES COME WITH DRINKS?
Unless the menu says otherwise, drinks do not come with the catering packages. You may order drinks (non-alcoholic and alcoholic alike) through our partner beverage delivery services.
QWILL THERE BE SECURITY AVAILABLE TO WATCH MY THINGS DURING THE GAME?
Yes and no.
Once you arrive on game day, you are solely responsible for your tailgate and any personal items left unattended. Our security is there primarily to ensure your safety. While we do our very best to make sure your items are supervised, they are your responsibility. We do not maintain a lost and found and we are not responsible for items left during the game or overnight on Saturday. Make sure you have all of your belongings when you leave your tailgate after the game.
QDO WE HAVE TO CLEAN UP OUR TAILGATE AREA?
You are responsible for the cleanliness of your area. We will do our best to monitor and empty your garbage can throughout the day, as well as provide plenty of garbage bags. When you leave your tailgate, all uneaten food should be placed in a garbage can and all table tops should be cleaned off. Any tailgate site found left with excessive amounts of garbage out is subject to a $250 cleanup fee and possible forfeiture of future tailgating opportunities.
QARE THERE RESTROOMS AVAILABLE AT TAILGATE TENNESSEE?
There will be three portable restroom trailers at the back of Circle Park, in front of the Communications building. These will open three hours prior to kick-off and be open as long as capacity allows. ADA compliant restrooms are available in McClung Museum until kick-off.
QHOW DO THE PULL-THROUGH PASSES WORK?
These are available at the entrance to Circle Park on gameday.
Circle Park will open for Tailgate Tennessee guests to pull in starting 8 hours prior to kickoff, up until 3 1/2 hours prior to kickoff. Parking attendants will have your pull-through passes at the entrance to Circle Park, under your group name. These passes are single-use only, valid for up to 15 minutes.
RETURN AND CANCELLATION POLICY:
Payment is required in full, upfront in order to secure your reservation. Once you reserve a tailgate package it is removed from inventory, preventing any other tailgaters from reserving it. Therefore, we are unable to offer refunds for any cancellations after August 1st of each season.
